Hiking Distance: ~4 Miles
Difficulty: Easy to Moderate (w/ one short but strenuous optional trail)
Highlights: Native American Mound Enclosure, Waterfalls, Guided Meditation and Journaling
Description:
Join us as we hike these friendly trails along the perimeter of an ancient and sacred Native American mound enclosure designed in astrological alignment with the Sun, the giver of all energy for life on Earth. The trails will lead us to three unique waterfall features perfect for meditatively connecting with Mother Earth, and there will be one short but strenuous option climbing Backbone Ridge to a remarkable erosion feature likely used as a ceremonial space alongside the main enclosure.
Nikki will be leading a guided meditation in the field clearing at the top of the sacred ancient site for those of you interested in connecting into your own ancient wisdom and allowing the wisdom of this space to activate a higher knowing. This is optional and will be a suggested donation of $11 to participate.
We also encourage you to bring your journal along if you have one, and take time during or after the hike to sit in the sacred space and allow your inspirations to flow.
